Draft Marketing and Communications Strategy

The Town of Bassendean in consultation with the community, and in particular people with disability, has reviewed its current Disability Access and Inclusion Plan. The Town is now in the process of finalising the revised Access and Inclusion Plan for 2019-2024. The new plan will guide the Town in how to be more inclusive and provide better access for and inclusion of, people with disability.

The Town is committed to ensuring people with disability, their carers, friends and families are welcome and included by ensuring equitable access to services, buildings and other facilities, information, the level and quality of services, complaints handling and employment.

If you would like to provide your feedback, especially if you are person with a disability, a friend, family member, carer or a service provider, please review the Draft Plan here and tell us what you think in the “Comments and Suggestions” box below.

Feedback will be taken until Thursday 31st January 2019 at 5:00pm.

A hardcopy of the draft Access and Inclusion Plan can be viewed at the Council’s Customer Service Centre at 35 Old Perth Road, Bassendean between 8:30am and 5:00pm Monday to Friday, or at the Bassendean Library at 46 Old Perth Road, Bassendean during its hours of operation. You can also phone 9377 8000 for an emailed or posted copy.
